Moby P. Torres, Esq.

Mr. Torres the owner and founder, established The Torres Law Firm in 1995. He received his law degree from Lincoln Law School, where he was Law Review Copy Editor and a Volunteer Mentor.  During 1995-1996, Mr. Torres practiced in the areas of Workers Compensation Law, Family Law, and Criminal Law with Andrew B. Bosque & Associates in San Jose, California. Mr. Torres has years of valuable experience representing business immigration law and nationality law. He has represented clients for naturalization interviews, adjustment of status interviews, marriage fraud, and master calendar hearings.  He has worked on H, E, L, F visas, national interest waivers, labor certifications, EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant petitions.  In his free time, Mr. Torres enjoys playing ice hockey and surfing the waves in La Jolla.  

Lauren A. Bortolotti, Esq.

Ms. Bortolotti is the newest member of the Torres Law Firm team.  She received her law degree from California Western School of Law in 2008, where she was an Associate Writer for both the Law Review and International Law Journal.  Ms. Bortolotti brings her knowledge of asylum law, and business and family immigration law to the firm, as well as experience working with the Office of Chief Counsel for ICE, where she learned the Government’s goals and strategies.  She has represented clients for affirmative asylum, defensive asylum, marriage interviews, master calendar hearings, and individual hearings.  In her free time, Ms. Bortolotti enjoys yoga and going to concerts.
